Local affordable Well Pet Vaccine Clinic in North Augusta, SC is seeking a part-time experienced vet assistant to join our team. The primary job responsibilities are:
1. Provide assistance to all our veterinarians.
2. Properly and Safely restraining animals.
3. Drawing blood and running heartworm tests.
4. Drawing vaccines.
5. Cleaning and stocking exam room.
6. Adhering to the policies and safety regulations of the clinic.
7. Previous Surgery assisting greatly preferred.
Minimum of one year prior experience as a vet assistant is mandatory and experience in venipuncture and restraining techniques preferred. QuickBooks experience is a plus.
This is a part-time position and hours are usually around 25- 30 per week. Saturdays are sometimes part of the work week.
Starting salary is $15/hour.
