JOB Under general supervision, this position provides patron services within assigned program or facility areas.

Monitors and maintains the overall appearance and functionality of facilities, venues, and program areas to provide safe conditions for patrons and staff; performs maintenance tasks, remedies safety concerns, and communicates any issues to a supervisor.
Assists in setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, A/V equipment, sports, or recreation equipment for events, programs, and rentals.

Tools & Equipment
Requires frequent use of general cleaning equipment and supplies as well as small hand tools.
Physical Demands
Requires regular sitting, standing, walking, talking, handling, feeling or operating objects, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Requires occasional reaching with hands and arms, climbing and balancing. Requires moderate physical activity with heavy lifting, up to fifty (50) pounds. Requires close and distance vision acuity and the ability to adjust focus, allowing a broad field of vision.
Environment
Work is frequently performed in a climate-controlled office environment, but employees holding this position may be exposed to extreme cold or heat and wetness/humidity. The noise level is usually high and may range from moderate to extreme. The employee may occasionally work with or around hazardous items or hazardous conditions such as mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, chemicals, or radiant energy.
In order to ensure the safety of the public and reduce the risk for loss, background screenings are completed on applicants selected for employment, internship opportunities and safety sensitive volunteer positions.
