The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. This role involves managing a team of production workers, coordinating with other departments, and continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
· Direct and supervise production staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
· Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Production Management:
· Ensure production schedules are met and production targets are achieved.
· Monitor and control production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained.
· Coordinate with other departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure smooth production flow.
Process Improvement:
· Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
· Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Safety and Compliance:
· Ensure all production activities comply with company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations.
· Address and resolve any safety issues or concerns promptly.
Reporting and Documentation:
· Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and records.
· Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production.
· Communicate production status and issues to the Production Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
· Experience with continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
Skills:
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
