AVLGEAR.COM is hiring an individual to help streamline the workflow and upgrade the team with their experience and leadership. Our company focuses on selling Audio, Video, and Lighting equipment for professionals. Established in 1991, the company size is 20+ personnel and have been experiencing YOY growth.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping out orders efficiently and accurately. This role is crucial in ensuring that our inventory is well-organized and that our customers receive their orders on time.
Responsibilities
- Receiving Shipments: Welcome delivery trucks, unload incoming stock, and verify the contents against purchase orders.
- Storing Inventory: Label and store merchandise according to size, shape, and type. Ensure that all items are placed in their designated locations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are packed and labeled accurately.
- Shipping Orders: Pack and ship orders according to company standards, ensuring that all shipments are secure and properly documented.
- Inventory Management: Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times. Maintain clear records on all inventory and stock.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communication: Collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventory.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory management systems.
- Prior experience handling tens of thousands of SKUs is preferred.
