East & Co. - a living hub of hospitality where food, space, and community come together - is searching for a creative and detail-oriented General Manager to join the team at our unique Boulder hospitality venue.
Catering to a wide range of clientele, the General Manager must be highly adaptable and driven in creating an outstanding guest experience. As a contributing member of a small, tight-knit, decision making team, the right person will be a pivotal piece in making something exceptional and unique to Boulder. This individual will pursue excellence in all thing’s hospitality while creating a unique and elevated experience for guests.
East & Co. is a new venture located at 2100 Central Avenue surrounded by a variety of office campuses. This unique building includes a number of high-end concepts including a coffee shop, retail marketplace, full-service restaurant & bar, catering & events, and conference space. Current hours of operation are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday with nights & weekends required as needed for events. The General Manager is required to have exposure to opens, closes, and mid-shifts.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have a proven track record of previous experience (5+ years) in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent hospitality while simultaneously maximizing guest experience
- Provide leadership for a team by creating a positive environment, consistent guidance and ongoing training
- Understand and believe in being unapologetically extreme with our hospitality approach
- The ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team while maintaining excellent communication
- Implement policies and procedures that maintain high standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen eye for attention to detail
- Collaborate well with other members of management/ownership to optimize food production processes while continuously looking at ways to elevate the overall guest experience
- Be involved in hiring and maintaining a rock solid FOH team, understanding the value in properly training each member during the onboarding process
- Be responsible for effective scheduling of FOH staff to assure excellence in all operations while simultaneously hitting labor cost
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including inventory control, catering, and food production, while also managing financial aspects such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Utilize systems effectively for Payroll, Accounts Payable, Order Processing and Sales Tracking – experience with GoTab, 7shifts, OpenTable, Back Office, and Canva a plus
Base Salary Range of $85,000-$90,000 plus benefits
