Cha & Associates American Family Insurance is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Madison, WI. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with clients while contributing to the agency's growth through thoughtful, needs-based sales.
Approximately 60% of your time will be dedicated to servicing existing clients and 40% will focus on identifying cross-selling and new business opportunities.

What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll provide exceptional support to existing customers while identifying opportunities to strengthen their insurance protection.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service to existing clients by phone, email, and in person.
- Assist customers with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, claims support, and coverage updates.
- Conduct policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Cross-sell additional insurance products based on customer needs.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
- Educate clients on policy options, discounts, and available coverage.
- Process policy transactions accurately and maintain organized customer records.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agency service and sales goals.
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Previous insurance agency experience strongly preferred.
- Experience providing both customer service and insurance sales support.
- Life Insurance License is a plus or willingness to obtain.
