The Hotel Maintenance tech is responsible for theup keep and repair of a hotel's physical plant, including its equipment,systems, and grounds. They ensure a safe and comfortable environment forguests and staff by performing preventative maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and addressing emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:

Performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs onvarious systems like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.

Implementing and managing a preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel assets.
- Responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations such as power outages, plumbing leaks, and equipment failures.

Addressing and resolving guest maintenance requests efficiently and courteously.
- Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and protocols.

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities,including repairs, inspections, and replacements.
- Working with other departments, such as housekeeping and security, to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in various hotelequipment and systems.

Assisting with the planning and execution of maintenanceprojects, including renovations and installations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbingsystems, as well as HVAC and refrigeration.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff.
PhysicalStamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting andcarrying equipment.
SafetyAwareness: Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail when performing inspections and repairs.
