American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Oncology (Hem/Onc) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of pediatric hematology/oncology experience and active GA or compact RN licensure.

Pediatric oncology and hematology patient population

13-week contract

Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities

EMR: Epic
-
Active GA or compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and APHON Chemotherapy (CHEON)

Minimum 2 years of pediatric Hem/Onc experience required

BMT experience preferred, but Hem/Onc-only experience is acceptable

Date of birth required for consideration

Flu vaccination required — no exemptions (medical or religious) accepted

Must be able to pass a nicotine screening as part of the drug screen

Epic EMR experience will be utilized in this role

Nurses are expected to collaborate as part of the unit team and provide support beyond their individual patient assignment, contributing to overall unit needs

Scrubs of any color are acceptable

RTO requests must be submitted upfront
