Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify maintenance needs early.
- Assist with site preparation activities including grading, excavation, and material placement using Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance records, and safety checks in compliance with company policies.
- Follow all safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating dump trucks and heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, water trucks, backhoes, or horizontal drills.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on machinery.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites with familiarity in excavation, paving, tanker operations, or water truck management.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols.
