Volunteer Opportunity: IT & Technology Advisor

Time Commitment: 2–5 hours per month (flexible)
About Luna Wellness Center
Luna Wellness Center is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing free restorative wellness programs for women undergoing and recovering from cancer treatment. Our mission is to help women regain strength, confidence, and emotional well-being through supportive services that complement medical care.
As we grow, we're building a strong technology foundation to support our programs, volunteers, and community.
Position Summary
Luna Wellness Center is building a small Technology Advisory Committee of three to five volunteers with complementary skills (website, cybersecurity, cloud systems, and AI).
We're seeking experienced IT professionals who are passionate about using technology for social good. This volunteer will serve as a trusted advisor, helping us develop secure, efficient, and sustainable technology systems.
Responsibilities:
- Guide Google Workspace for Nonprofits and Microsoft 365
- Support our Wix website and technology integrations
- Assist with Zeffy donation platform integrations
- Recommend affordable nonprofit technology solutions
- Help strengthen cybersecurity and data protection
- Advise on cloud storage and file organization
- Troubleshoot occasional technical issues
- Help develop a long-term technology roadmap
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT, systems administration, cloud computing, or cybersecurity
- Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
- Experience supporting websites or nonprofit technology is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Interest in making a meaningful community impact
