Job Summary
Program and operate laser machines and maintain the laser work center.
Duties, Responsibilities & Essential Functions
1. Program, set up, and run CO2 laser operations to meet production schedule
2. Laser cut spray masks and rubber stamps for use in production
3. Submit purchase requisitions for materials and supplies used in CO2 laser work center
4. Maintain CO2 laser equipment and organize work center
5. Enter activities in M1 SFE and complete job paperwork
6. Assist and backup Manufacturing Engineer and CNC Programmer as needed
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
1. Proficient with CAD software, preferably AutoCAD
2. Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
3. Experience with programming, setting up, and operating lasers
4. Adept at using inspection equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, CMM's)
5. Strong organizational and analytical skills
Working Conditions
1. Light production and office environment
2. Mix of standing and sitting
3. Some exposure to solvents and other chemicals
