Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and development
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including incident reports and quality assessments
Identify and address any quality of care issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities
Requirements:
Current RN license in the state of New Jersey
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and regulations
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
