LOGISTICS DRIVER – FLATBED TOW OPERATOR (CLASS C)

We are hiring a Logistics Driver / Flatbed Tow Operator to support one of the nation's leading autonomous vehicle companies.
This position is ideal for experienced drivers with flatbed towing experience who are comfortable recovering vehicles on public roads, operating heavy-duty towing equipment, and working in a fast-paced logistics environment. You'll play a critical role in safely transporting autonomous vehicles while supporting daily fleet operations.
What You'll Do
- Safely recover company vehicles on public roads using a Dodge Ram 3500 flatbed tow truck
- Operate vehicles with a combined gross vehicle weight of 10,001–26,000 lbs. (Flatbed GVWR: 20,000 lbs.)
- Perform vehicle loading, unloading, securing, and winching procedures
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain DOT compliance and follow all safety regulations
- Maintain accurate driving logs and hours-of-service records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and ground support teams
- Refuel vehicles and perform basic preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient vehicle recovery
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License
- Clean driving record with no moving violations
- Minimum 2 years of flatbed towing experience
- Experience performing vehicle recoveries on public roads
- Experience operating flatbed tow trucks and winching equipment
- Comfortable operating vehicles up to 26,000 lbs. GVWR
- Strong communication skills and experience working with dispatch or ground crews
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs. and enter/exit vehicles throughout the day
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical
- Dodge Ram 3500 flatbed trucks
- Vehicle recovery operations

- Fleet logistics or roadside assistance
