Job Overview:
Pritzlaff Wholesale Meats is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our team in New Berlin, WI. This role involves driving refrigerated (reefer) trucks to deliver fresh meat products to restaurants, grocery stores, and other businesses throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. Adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations is essential, as well as maintaining a high level of customer service during every delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Safely operate reefer trucks to deliver meat products to customers in Wisconsin and Illinois.
· Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to restaurants, grocers, and other commercial businesses.
· Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
· Load and unload products using appropriate equipment and techniques.
· Inspect delivery vehicles before and after use to ensure compliance with DOT standards.
· Maintain delivery logs, paperwork, and any required reports in accordance with DOT regulations.
· Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and state/federal driving regulations.
· Communicate any delivery issues, delays, or mechanical concerns with the dispatch team.
· Represent Pritzlaff Wholesale Meats with professionalism and integrity during all customer interactions.
Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license (class 4-7) with a clean driving record.
· Experience driving delivery box trucks, preferably refrigerated (reefer) trucks.
· Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, including maintaining accurate driving logs.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to lift and move heavy products, up to 50 lbs .
· Strong time management and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and follow assigned delivery routes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
