Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations, adhering to food safety standards.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to prevent shortages.
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting for guests.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy hours while maintaining high standards of hospitality industry experience.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or upscale hospitality environments.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, spirits, and beverage presentation.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on creating positive guest interactions.
- Ability to develop new beverage recipes and adapt offerings based on guest preferences.
- Experience in food service operations including food safety practices and serving standards.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management.
- Knowledge of catering services and food industry standards is a plus.
