Our facility in Greenwood, IN, is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our production team. Your primary focus will be the setup and operation of brake press machinery to shape components precisely according to established blueprints and technical instructions.
Your Responsibilities:

Analyze technical drawings and operation sheets to identify the necessary production steps.

Execute forming tasks, including standard bends, large radii, and offsets.

Utilize precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to ensure parts meet quality standards, helping to maintain high product integrity for our customers.

Track and document the exact quantities of finished and rejected components.
-
Finalize all production documentation and update the internal company database.

Keep all equipment, tools, and measurement devices organized and in good working condition.

Promptly notify management of any machinery issues while helping to maintain a safe and tidy workspace for the entire team.

Qualifications:

Ability to interpret blueprints and operation sheets to determine the correct setup for forming tasks.

Competence in operating and setting up Brake Press machinery and managing data within the Traverse Manufacturing System.
