We are expanding our footprint and looking for a dynamic, strategic, and high-energy Field Marketing Manager (FMM) to build, mentor, and lead a versatile, hybrid field marketing team.
Position Overview
As the Field Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the VP of Marketing and play a pivotal role in our growth, including being invited to executive leadership meetings.
Your primary mission is to build and manage a brand-new, agile team of Field Marketing Representatives (FMRs) possessing a hybrid skillset. This team will bridge the gap between our two existing pillars, collaborating closely with both our Field Marketing Events & Retail Manager and our Field Marketing Canvass Manager. Your team will be masters of versatility—equally skilled at generating appointments at the door (canvassing) and engaging prospects at Home Shows, tabling events, and retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Building & Recruitment: Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard a high-performing team of hybrid Field Marketing Representatives (FMRs).
- Leadership & Development: Host regular team training meetings and conduct impactful 1-on-1 coaching sessions to ensure direct reports hit their personal and professional goals.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the VP of Marketing and the broader marketing leadership team to align strategies and achieve company-wide marketing objectives.
- Operations & Administration: Oversee team schedules, track performance metrics, and accurately submit payroll for your team.
- Versatile Execution: Lead by example, ensuring your team seamlessly transitions between door-to-door canvassing, home shows, retail settings, and community tabling events.
What We Are Looking ForRequired Experience: You must have proven experience managing either a direct-to-consumer canvassing team OR a shows and events/retail marketing team.
- The Hybrid Mindset: A leader who understands both the grit of door-to-door marketing and the charisma needed for event/retail marketing.
- Strong Recruiter & Coach: A track record of spotting talent, building culture, and reducing turnover through excellent leadership.
- Data-Driven Executive Presence: Comfortable analyzing team metrics, managing payroll, and contributing meaningfully to executive-level leadership meetings.
- High Energy & Adaptability: Ready to split time between strategic office planning and active field coaching.
