**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality care to patients and support healthcare professionals in a medical setting.
**Duties:**
- Record medical history in EMR software.
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic medical tasks including vital signs and phlebotomy
- Administer medications under the direction of a physician
- Provide medical administrative support such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Ensure a clean and organized medical environment
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Training for Xray certification will be provided and employee will take foot and ankle X- rays in the office.
- Serilize instruments.
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in coding and medical terminology
- Experience in a clinical setting
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to prioritize patient comfort
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist healthcare providers effectively
- Ability to administer medications and perform inhalation treatments
- Familiarity with medical administrative tasks such as patient service coordination
- Competence in taking vital signs accurately
