Regional Director of Marina Operations
Join a recognized leader in outdoor recreation and destination hospitality management as a Regional Director of Marina Operations. This senior leadership role oversees and optimizes operations across multiple marina locations within California, including some of the most beautiful waterfront destinations in the country.
As Regional Director, you will inspire high-performing teams while maximizing financial performance, elevating the guest experience, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening partnerships with public and private agencies. This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role overseeing Food & Beverage, Retail, Marina, Events, and other revenue-generating operations across the portfolio.
What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple marina locations
- Lead, train, and mentor site managers to drive performance and consistency
- Ensure compliance with company standards and federal, state, and local regulations
- Oversee financial controls, asset management, safety programs, and customer experience
- Build strong relationships with partnering agencies and key stakeholders
- Identify operational challenges and opportunities; develop and recommend improvement plans to executive leadership.
- Assist in oversight of marina improvement projects, including coordination with contractors, monitoring timelines and budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and minimizing operational disruption during project execution.
- Provide input on growth initiatives including acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of multi-unit management experience in marina operations
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with contract or permit-based operations strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to travel extensively
- Certified Marina Manager Certificate or in progress is required
- Candidates must reside in California.
- Willingness to travel to sites at least 50% of the time is required.
