About the Role:
As a Cook at Alpine Care of Zion, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents and staff. Your expertise will help us deliver a memorable dining experience that meets the diverse dietary needs of our community. You will work closely with our dietary team to plan and execute menus, ensuring that our food is not only delicious but also nutritious and allergy-friendly.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and menus
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitary and safety standards
Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs
Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and functions
Develop and maintain a cordial and respectful relationship with residents and staff
Requirements:
Food Handlers Permit
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Strong communication and teamwork skills
