Hey Y'all,
We are a sandwich shop/deli in town that serves Italian style subs in honor of the NYC/NJ area. We are looking for a hot sandwich maker/prep cook for Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.
The shifts will vary between 6am -4pm, 7am-5pm.
The main role will be making hot sandwiches, including chicken Parms, meatball Parms and chopped cheeses.
*Speed is the number one priority! It gets very busy and we need someone who can crank through tickets. You essentially become a hot sandwich machine.
In addition to hot sandwich making, you'll be responsible for prep tasks outside of service hours such as:
-making chicken cutlets
-making bread
-making vinaigrette/aioli
-making deli salads
The prep crew is fairly small in a tight area, so being able to work well with people is key. A positive attitude is also key; we want someone who enjoys their job and enjoys working are part of our crew!
The pay is $17/hr + a small tip share.
We also offer health & dental for part-time employees
Minimum of 3 years kitchen experience REQUIRED.
