Our client in Western Illinois is actively seeking a full-time Registered Nurse First Assistant for their Urology Office!
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) plays a critical role in supporting the surgeon during urology procedures. This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, advanced technical abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of surgical instruments and equipment.
The RNFA provides care to patients across multiple age groups, from neonates through geriatrics, while demonstrating an understanding of age-specific developmental and functional needs.
Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, accountability, and adherence to organizational standards, policies, and code of conduct requirements.
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Days, Monday–Friday
Qualifications
Required Education, Training, and Experience
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
- National Assistant at Surgery Certification (NASC) or equivalent certification
Compensation
Based on relevant experience
