Qualifications:
- Master's degree in school counseling or closely related field
- Active School Social Worker license in Minnesota (PELSB)
- Experience working with elementary-age children preferred
- Spanish-speaking or bilingual ability highly valued, particularly for our Spanish immersion building
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling to elementary students
- Develop and implement programs promoting student well-being, academic achievement, and positive behavior
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents, assisting with student concerns and referrals
- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment across both assigned school sites
- Participate in school meetings and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards
