Position - Maintenance Technician I
Location - San Leandro, CA
Pay Range - $34 - $36/hr
Employment Type - Full-time

About the Role
In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of building systems within a client facility. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment (MHE) and pneumatic systems throughout the building.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
- Complete and accurately document preventative maintenance activities.
- Manage and maintain department inventory.
- Use appropriate tooling to troubleshoot simple AC/DC circuits, perform basic troubleshooting of MHE, and repair miscellaneous operational equipment as needed.
- Build strong working relationships with client personnel and Operations Maintenance team members.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience and/or training in a related field.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs, and using ladders, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with material handling and conveyance systems.
- 1+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
