A healthcare organization in the Bronx, NY area is seeking a Labor & Employee Relations professional to join their growing team. In this role, the qualified professional will support labor relations, workplace investigations, grievance administration, and employment law compliance in a unionized environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team handling a range of employee and labor relations matters.
About the Opportunity:

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

Conduct employee relations and workplace investigations
-
Support grievance handling and labor relations processes

Partner with managers on performance management and corrective action matters

Prepare investigation summaries and supporting documentation

Assist with collective bargaining agreement interpretation and administration
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience in Employee Relations and/or Labor Relations
-
Bachelor's Degree
-
Experience working in Unionized environments
-
Hands-on experience with Grievances, Workplace Investigations, Disciplinary Actions, and Labor Law

Strong knowledge of Employment Law and Employee Relations best practices

Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of ADP

Experience in a healthcare or Hospital setting
