Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks and personal cars, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Load, unload, and secure packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary.
- Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to optimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring safe lifting practices and proper weight handling in the workplace.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages promptly, answering questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and digital records via mobile devices or onboard systems.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual transmission operation, warehouse operations, and the use of material handling equipment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in delivery driving or courier roles is highly preferred.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or truck driving experience is advantageous.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or commercial trucks safely.
- Experience with manual handling, heavy lifting, moving items, or using material handling equipment like pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices to ensure compliance at all times.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and record keeping.
- Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
