Summary
We are seeking an Ocean and Air Export coordinator to join our dynamic team at ICL USA and to lead our export operations and drive strategic growth. This role is pivotal in managing our export operations, ensuring seamless logistics processes while maintaining compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day ocean and air export and domestic operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, airlines, and logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and customers to optimize shipping schedules as well as negotiate rates and service contracts.
- Manage documentation for export shipments including bills of lading and customs declarations.
- Resolve shipment issues, delays, and escalations with professionalism.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in international freight forwarding, with focus on export operations.
- Strong knowledge of ocean and air freight logistics, documentation, and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and partners.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
