Job Description
We are a growing box truck company seeking a reliable and professional driver to run a dedicated night route. This is a full-time opportunity with consistent work and the potential for additional loads and extra income.
The ideal candidate is experienced with box trucks, safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 26-ft box truck safely and efficiently
- Pick up and deliver freight according to scheduled routes
- Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, and procedures
- Complete basic trip reports and maintain logs as required
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Requirements
- Previous box truck driving experience (required)
- Clean driving record
- Must pass drug test and background check
- Must provide 3 professional references
- Must have reliable personal transportation to and from the truck yard
- Comfortable driving at night and handling freight responsibly
- Ability to follow DOT and company compliance policies
- Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
Compensation & Schedule
- $640-$900 per week depending on
- Additional work and extra runs may be available
- Consistent route and steady volume
- Route will start with 4 days per week with the opportunity to move to 5 days per week
- Opportunity for additional days/overtime
- Home daily
