Position Summary
The Seasonal Float works from our Rome, GA location and is primarily responsible for performing a variety of manufacturing, material handling, and support tasks across multiple work areas within the plant. This role provides flexible labor coverage to ensure production flow, maintain safety and quality standards, and support overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and able to learn multiple tasks quickly. Added value for candidates with forklift experience.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
- Performs such individual assignments as management may direct in the Warehouse or overall Manufacturing environment.
- Perform general production tasks including labeling, shipping, packaging, plant cleanup, machine operation and/or forklift operation along with other plant functions as needed.
- May support inventory counts and material restocking as required.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
- Report unsafe conditions, near misses, or equipment concerns.
- Must be willing to rotate between various jobs, lines, or departments based on business needs.
- Must be willing to provide coverage for absences, vacations, or surge production periods.
- Working hours may vary as specified by management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships across the team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
- Performs record keeping duties as required under the direction of management.
- Accesses, inputs, and retrieves information from the computer.
- Reviews, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.
- Must follow company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct as outlined in Oasis Handbooks and manuals.
- Other duties as needed by management and/or business needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass an approved forklift test is highly preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a production/manufacturing role.
- Maintains awareness and complies with hazardous waste management and other environmental management requirements in the workplace by attending scheduled training sessions.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs (typically 25–50 lbs), safely.
- Able to exhibit consistent positive attendance and dependability.
- Must follow company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct.
- Required on-the-job and classroom training.
- Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear and concise communication (verbal and written) in a respectful manner to all levels of personnel.
Physical Environment & Working Conditions:
- May be subject to all of the following, but not limited to:
- Hot/Cold working conditions.
- Loud /Noisy environment.
- Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb.
- Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).
- This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to, high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
- Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices.
Education and Certification
- High School Diploma or GED education equivalent required.
- Additional Certifications are valued.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
