With over 50 years in the furniture business, Jofran Inc. is a well-established company. An experienced Inventory Control Specialist is needed to assist in the operations of a complex organization. Jofran’s headquarters and main distribution center is located in Norfolk, MA. Jofran has offices in Vietnam and India as well as distribution facilities in California, South Carolina and Vietnam. Jofran supplies 90% of the top 100 furniture retailers in the US.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead physical inventory process of all warehouse products
- Process and post physical inventory transactions in ERP
- Lead weekly cycle count for warehouse
- Provide onsite confirmation counts for items with reported shipping errors
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies with warehouse and/or supply chain teams
- Maintain strong dotted line ownership to cycle counting team
- Assist in troubleshooting functions related to shipping and receiving
- Assist with monitoring and reconciling inventory in 3PL warehouses
- Act as key user of ERP for warehouse
- Coordinate process for QC product and provide weekly status updates
- Maintain inventory accuracy metrics for warehouse
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- 4+ years of inventory control with counting experience
- Familiarity with inventory management documentation and processing requirements
- Knowledge of ERP or WMS systems required
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Advanced Formula creation)
- Proficient in other Microsoft Office programs
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Forklift or other power equipment experience a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Juggles many priorities and can multitask effectively with limited or no supervision
- Always exhibit sound judgment and ethical behavior
Schedule Is Monday – Friday 7:30AM-4PM and Thursdays 6:30AM-3PM
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
