Are you the person who keeps everything organized, notices when the numbers do not match, and still brings positive energy to the room?
The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is excited to learn Human Resources and help create a welcoming experience for our applicants and team members.
You do not need years of HR experience. We are looking for someone with the right combination of personality, judgment, curiosity, and organization.
Fun, engaging, and comfortable connecting with different people.
Highly organized and able to keep track of details, inventory, and deadlines.
Analytical and willing to investigate when information does not look right.
Computer savvy and confident learning new systems.
Collaborative, dependable, and willing to jump in where needed.
Approachable while understanding confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Interested in starting and growing a career in Human Resources.
You will help support recruiting, new hire onboarding, employee records, HR systems, team member communications, reporting, engagement activities, and special projects.
You will also work closely with the Human Resources Manager to support the resort’s uniform program. The Human Resources Manager administers the program, while the HR Coordinator helps prepare and distribute uniforms, maintain issuance and inventory records, organize supplies, and communicate team member uniform needs.
You may spend part of your day welcoming a new hire, scheduling interviews, reviewing a spreadsheet, preparing orientation materials, distributing uniforms, following up with a manager, updating employee information, or helping coordinate a team member event.
No two days in resort Human Resources are exactly the same.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and a desire to produce accurate work.
The ability to organize and maintain uniforms, records, and supplies.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience in hospitality, customer service, administration, inventory, retail, or another people-focused position is helpful, but it is not required. College coursework in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality, Communications, or a related area is also helpful but not required.
This is an opportunity to begin your HR career in a unique resort environment where you can learn, contribute, and work with team members from across the property. You will be part of a collaborative HR team focused on supporting the people who create memorable experiences for our guests.
Bring your personality, your organization skills, and your curiosity. We will help you build the HR experience.
