Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide quality patient care under the direction of a physician and supervision of a licensed nurse. The ideal candidate will assist with clinical procedures, medication administration, specimen collection, vital signs, documentation, and patient care while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture, collect specimens, and record vital signs.
- Assist with medication administration, EKGs, and other clinical procedures.
- Provide basic wound care, CPR, oxygen therapy, and catheterization assistance.
- Maintain accurate medical records and inventory of medical supplies.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and patients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Medical Assistant certification (or eligible per state requirements).
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond calmly during emergencies.
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
