Job Summary
A Host/Server Assistant with Green Heart Hospitality should be an enthusiastic and engaging host and ambassador, ensuring each guest has a vibrant, enjoyable, and memorable experience worth returning for. The Host/Food Runner role is focused on helping to keep the kitchen and front of house connected and flowing smoothly, bringing food to the table, clearing and resetting tables as necessary, and helping to maintain a quality dining, drinking, and socializing environment. Your Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist service staff with the initial setup of dining areas and related service touchpoints and operating supplies.
- Assist with the seating and greeting of guests, including providing menus, water and/or coffee, ensuring proper place settings are available, and ensuring guests are comfortable.
- As food dishes are prepared and become available in the kitchen, coordinate with service staff to assist in bringing food from the kitchen to the guest table.
- Clear guest tables of used table setting items such as silverware, empty glassware and dishes, and loose debris on and around the table.
- Complete designated side work efficiently and thoroughly.
- Clean and maintain all working areas and equipment.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch for the duration of shift.
- Ability to lift and/or move and/or push up to 40 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to use both hands without restrictions in order to carry, serve and clear food and beverage with or without reasonable accommodation.
