Duties
- Develop, review, and update fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans to ensure compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and alarm systems to guarantee operational readiness.
- Conduct thorough construction inspections related to fire safety features during new builds or renovations to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors on fire system design projects, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure and compliance with safety standards.
- Lead fire alarm sales initiatives by providing expert consultation on alarm system solutions tailored to client needs while promoting safety enhancements.
- Monitor ongoing system performance through regular testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities; respond swiftly to any alarms or malfunctions.
- Train staff on fire safety procedures, alarm system operation, and emergency protocols to cultivate a vigilant safety culture across all levels of the organization.
Experience
- Proven experience in security operations with a focus on fire protection systems such as fire sprinklers and alarms.
- Strong background in system design for fire alarm systems and integrated security solutions within commercial or industrial settings.
- Hands-on experience conducting construction inspections related to fire safety features during building projects or renovations.
- Knowledge of fire sprinkler fitting standards, installation practices, and maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity with sales processes for alarm systems or fire alarm solutions is a plus for client engagement roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in compliance documentation.
