We are currently seeking a self-motivated Roofing Technician to join our construction team. This role involves working hands-on with roofing crews on a variety of residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for supporting all stages of roof installation, including demolition, prep, and final shingle application.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in tear-off of existing shingles and roof decking
- Installation of OSB or plywood as needed
- Apply roofing underlayment and install shingles to specification
- Conduct pre-project inspections and assist in verifying material deliveries
- Work alongside subcontractors to ensure proper procedures and safety standards are met
- Support project oversight and facilitation to ensure on-time and quality completion
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to maintain project momentum
Requirements
- 2 years of Valid and verifiable roofing experience is required. (helping your dad or uncle do a roof once or twice does not equal 2 years experience)
- Must be self-motivated, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Must be punctual and able to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Valid driver’s license required
