Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Locum Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative and highly respected anesthesia team. This is a locum/travel opportunity in Rockville, MD in a well-equipped surgical environment where patient safety and quality of care are top priorities.
You will provide general anesthesia coverage while working alongside a dedicated group of medical professionals in a setting that follows nationally recognized standards of care. This opportunity offers a consistent scheduled-shift structure with no cardiac or pediatric cases.
What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases.
- Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, nurses, and perioperative team members.
- Support efficient operating room flow while maintaining strong patient safety standards.
- Complete appropriate clinical documentation and follow established anesthesia protocols.
- Practice in a professional, team-oriented surgical environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Physician anesthesiologist with active board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology.
- Active medical license, with eligibility to practice in Maryland.
- Experience providing general anesthesia in an OR setting.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and professionalism.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within an anesthesia care team.

- Locum/travel opportunity.
- 5x10 schedule.
- Guaranteed scheduled shifts.
- General anesthesia cases only.
- No cardiac cases.
- No pediatric cases.
