Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Engineering Program Administrator to join our innovative team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple engineering projects utilizing project management methodologies such as Agile, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Waterfall, and Kanban to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Manage project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Jira, maintaining clear timelines and resource allocations.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, develop detailed test cases, and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate project deliverables meet business needs.
- Support the development and implementation of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes, ensuring compliance with IT governance policies and PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) standards.
- Assist in release management activities, including planning, coordination, and communication across teams for smooth deployment of enterprise software solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, risk assessments, disaster recovery procedures, and change control records using Visio and SharePoint.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud computing initiatives involving AWS (Amazon Web Services), SQL databases like Oracle and SQL Server, and other IT infrastructure components.
- Monitor project progress through analysis skills and organizational techniques; report status updates to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Lead efforts in requirements analysis, scope definition, and project implementation while managing dependencies across multiple teams using tools like VersionOne and Jira.
- Foster effective communication among technical teams, business units, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management within enterprise software or IT infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and Kanban.
- Proficiency with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Visio, and Microsoft Word.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS; familiarity with disaster recovery strategies is a plus.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes, requirements gathering techniques, test-driven development (TDD), user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management practices.
- Technical expertise in databases such as SQL Server or Oracle; experience with IT governance frameworks is desirable.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement; negotiation skills are beneficial for resource allocation discussions.
- Ability to lead program management activities while demonstrating leadership qualities in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with project management software including Jira, VersionOne, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), SharePoint, and Visio. Pay: $10,578.00 - $16,933.00 per month
