American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level 3 neonatal ICU travel assignment in Fort Wayne, IN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and NRP/STABLE certification.

Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

13-week travel contract

Neonatal ICU (Level 3) in a hospital setting

34-bed NICU unit
-
Patient population ranges from stable feeder-growers to critical Level 3 neonates
-
Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3
-
Block scheduling is available
-
May float to assist in other areas, but does not take a primary assignment in other units
-
No on-call requirements

EMR: Cerner (experience required)

Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. — none may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required

Level 3 NICU experience required

Driver's license required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted

Responsible for providing care to a diverse neonatal population ranging from stable feeder-growers through critically ill Level 3 patients

Orientation consists of 2 x 12-hour shifts

Navy blue scrubs required

Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
