Local and well established construction equipment distributor looking for a Service Technician/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to fill an immediate opening for an Apprentice position. Job requires heavy equipment repair experience along with diesel engine, hydraulic and hydrostat drives, electrical (12V, 24V & 110) and pneumatic systems. Must be able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics. This is a shop & field mechanic job and will require some future periodic light travel and a valid driver's license.
This is an apprentice position, in-house and factory training will be provided. Requires joining Local 513 Operating Engineers Union and full benefits (medical and pension) provided after 90 days.
