What You'll Be Doing
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on motors, drives, controls, instrumentation, and production machinery.
- Install, modify, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and control panels.
- Diagnose AC/DC motors, VFDs, electrical controls, PLC hardware, HMIs, and industrial network communications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Complete work orders and support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with NEC, NFPA 70E, Arc Flash, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standards.
What We're Looking For
- Oregon Journey Electrician License (Required)
- Previous experience within industrial manufacturing or heavy industrial maintenance.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working with:
- Industrial motors & controls
- PLCs & HMIs
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- AC/DC electrical systems
- Instrumentation & control systems
- Electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Must provide own hand tools.
