Lead Concrete Crew Leader – Residential Slabs (Experience Required)
Are you an experienced concrete professional who knows how to run a crew, operate equiptment, and deliver flawless residential work? We are a growing residental concrete and seamless gutter company looking for a powerhouse Concrete Crew Leader to take ownership of our concrete division.
In this role, you aren't just a supervisor, you are the quarterback on the field. You will manage a crew of 6 employees, coordinate with the owner, and ensure our residential slabs, driveways, and patios are poured to perfection, on time, and on budget.
What You Will Do
- Lead the Crew: Manage, motivate, and delegate daily tasks to a dedicated team of 6 concrete workers.
- Read Blueprint: Accurately read and interpret residential slab and structural prints to ensure proper layout, grading, and formwork.
- Operate Equipment: Safely and skillfully operate job site equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, etc.) for sire prep and grading.
- Material Management: Calculate yardage and order mud, rebar, gravel, and forms directly from suppliers with minimal waste.
- Own the Quality: Oversee subgrade prep, form setting, rebar placement, and the final finish (broom, stamped, slick) to prevent call backs.
- Customer Relations: Act as the primary face of the company on-site, answering homeowner questions and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction before pulling off the job site.
What We are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of residential concrete experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or foreman role.
- Print reading: Proven ability to read architectural and structural prints for residential concrete foundations and flatwork.
- Equipment Skills: Proficiency operating skid steers and excavators for tight residential grading.
- Leadership: A strong, fair communicator who leads by example, teaches younger guys, and holds the team accountable.
- Logistics: Basic math skills for ordering material and managing truck indentory.
- License: Valid driver's license with a clean record. (CDL is a plus but not required).
Schedule
- Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturdays depending on weather).
