Responsibilities
- Safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair passengers to and from medical appointments.
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed.
- Operate wheelchair lifts and properly secure mobility devices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained vehicle.
- Follow assigned schedules and routes while ensuring timely service.
- Complete trip documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate customer service to all passengers.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Virginia driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to safely assist passengers with mobility needs.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to remain calm and handle unexpected situations appropriately.
- Willingness to complete company-paid NEMT certification within 15 days of hire.
- Previous NEMT, healthcare transportation, or professional driving experience is preferred but not required.
- Flexible availability, including rotating weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call shifts.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20.00 per hour (W-2 employee)
