Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
- School Social Worker Endorsement required
- Previous school-based social work preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with high school students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling to high school students, supporting their social, emotional, and academic needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain documentation in compliance with state, federal, and school guidelines
- Respond to crises and provide timely support and resources
- Advocate for student needs and facilitate access to community services as needed
