Responsibilities
- Provide dynamic leadership to faculty and staff, promoting a collaborative and innovative educational culture.
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that meet educational standards and address diverse student needs.
- Lead strategic planning efforts to set long-term goals, improve program quality, and expand community engagement.
- Manage the center’s budget effectively, including overseeing financial planning, resource allocation, and fundraising initiatives.
- Supervise personnel management activities such as hiring, performance evaluations, professional development, and personnel policies adherence.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to education administration, special education law, and school policies.
- Oversee school administrative functions including enrollment management, student services, faculty evaluation, and classroom oversight.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders through public speaking engagements, community events, and partnerships to enhance the center’s reputation and support fundraising efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a center director or in a leadership role within an educational setting.
- Extensive background in childcare and licensing regulations.
- Demonstrated success managing budgets.
- Excellent personnel management skills with experience supervising educators and support staff.
- Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals while fostering innovation in teaching practices.
- Degree in education or CDA credential.
