Overview
Primary responsibilities will be to operate the plant’s wastewater pretreatment process. Secondary responsibilities will include ordering parts and performing basic maintenance activities to support the plant maintenance team where needed. Perform assigned responsibilities to support the safe and productive manufacture of quality products and to meet the goals of the Company.
Responsibilities
Ensure proper operation of the wastewater pretreatment process. To include daily testing of critical operating parameters, adjusting equipment controls, and collecting samples for shipping to third-party lab services.
Reporting test results to Portland Water District, managing records for possible audits.
Maintain a clean and organized work area always prepared for regulatory inspections.
Assist in the execution of the preventive maintenance program and complete associated work orders to ensure all equipment’s state of readiness relative to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures/complications and take necessary actions to rectify. Follow established procedures in the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of all equipment and tools.
Adhere to and follow all Company policies and procedures covering areas not limited to employee health and safety programs, food safety programs, and employment requirements outline by the Human Resources team.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Skills
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and water quality standards.
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Good communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members on maintenance or construction projects.
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
