Kava Culture Downtown Tampa is looking for a full-time Kavatender to join our team!
We're looking for someone who is outgoing, hardworking, friendly, dependable, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people. Our bar is very community-driven, so we're not just looking for someone who can make drinks—we want someone who can help create an environment where people feel welcomed, remembered, and excited to come back.
You do not need previous kava experience. We're happy to teach you about our products and how to make our drinks. What we're looking for is the right personality, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

- Has full availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidaysAs a Kavatender, you'll be responsible for more than making drinks. You'll help set the vibe of the bar and make sure every person who walks in feels welcome.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and connecting with customers
- Preparing and serving drinks
- Learning our products and educating customers
- Making recommendations and upselling when appropriate
- Building relationships with regulars
- Maintaining a clean and organized bar
- Completing opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities
- Restocking and staying ahead of what the bar needs
- Helping create a fun, positive atmosphere
- Supporting events and community nights
- Working together with the rest of the team during busy shiftsWhat Matters Most to Us
