Relief Manager – Multi-Site Self-Storage (DFW Area)
Securlock Storage Centers is seeking a highly adaptable, reliable, and customer-focused Relief Manager to support our self-storage facilities across the DFW area. As Relief Manager, you will step in for site managers during vacations, absences, emergencies, and varying shift needs. You will handle day-to-day operations, sales, customer service, light maintenance, and property management across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, positive, organized, and ready to work a varied schedule with short-notice availability.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior self-storage, property management, retail, or sales experience preferred
- Strong customer service and sales skills with a professional, positive attitude
- Highly flexible schedule – must be available for varied shifts, weekends, call-ins, and short-notice coverage across DFW locations
- Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
- Computer literate; experience with Edge self-storage software a plus
- Able to lift to 50 lbs. and perform light facility maintenance and cleaning outdoors
- Must pass background check and drug screening; proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Leasing: Deliver excellent in-person and phone sales, assist with leasing goals, and market the property effectively
- Property Operations: Maintain clean, well-run facilities (cleaning, light maintenance, trash, filters, bulbs, etc.)
- Customer Service: Build strong tenant relationships and handle inquiries, issues, and service requests professionally
- Collections & Auctions: Assist with delinquent accounts and storage auctions
- Financial Accuracy: Support daily deposits, reporting, documentation of exceptions/discounts, and communication of irregularities
- Risk & Safety: Follow all company policies, properly execute leases, and report incidents promptly
- Team Support: Provide coverage across all Securlock locations in the DFW area
