Private Duty LPN — Evening Adult Home Care Case
Virginia | $30–$33 per hour
Atlantic Homecare Services is seeking a compassionate, skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one care for an adult client in their home.
This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN looking for a consistent evening schedule, meaningful patient relationships, and support from an on-call team available 24/7 for scheduling or urgent needs.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Every other Sunday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Client care needs
- G-tube feedings and care
- Nebulizer treatments
- Seizure monitoring and management
- Total care, including incontinence care and activities of daily living
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled, compassionate one-on-one nursing care
- Administer medications, treatments, and G-tube feedings as ordered
- Monitor the client’s condition, including seizure activity and respiratory needs
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and incontinence care
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA
- Collaborate with the care team to follow the individualized plan of care
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, including providing basic life support when needed
Requirements
- Active Virginia LPN license, or an active multistate compact LPN license, in good standing
- At least one year of licensed nursing experience
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Negative TB/PPD screening or chest X-ray completed within the past year
- Ability to meet background-screening requirements
- Experience with G-tubes, seizure care, nebulizer treatments, and total care preferred
