Duties
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians, ensuring timely completion of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and analyze equipment performance data for continuous improvement.
- Diagnose electrical systems using schematics, electrical blueprint reading, multimeters (ammeters and ohmmeters), and other precision measuring instruments to identify faults efficiently.
- Perform troubleshooting on complex equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, HVAC/R units, and industrial machinery.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on industrial electrical systems while adhering to safety standards; perform wiring, welding ( welding if applicable), and equipment repair as needed.
- Oversee the use of industrial mechanic skills for machinery alignment, calibration, and component replacement; ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting schematics and implementing modifications or upgrades to improve system reliability.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance procedures, repairs, inspections, and safety checks; ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide technical sales support by advising on equipment upgrades or replacements that enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure all team members are trained in the latest maintenance techniques including electrical troubleshooting, HVAC/R servicing, welding, and the use of precision instruments.
- Support customer service initiatives by resolving equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a strong background in industrial mechanic work and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Hands-on expertise with CMMS platforms for work order management and data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability in HVAC/R systems maintenance including HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
- Knowledge of schematics reading—electrical blueprints—and engineering troubleshooting methods for complex machinery.
- Experience operating scissor lifts or other aerial work platforms safely within an industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical diagnostics, wiring practices including welding if applicable.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to address operational issues effectively while maintaining safety standards.
- Ability to lead teams confidently while fostering a culture of safety, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
