Overview
We are seeking several reliable and dependable part time staff to join our team and help with Barefoot Republic’s after school program. Candidates can fill one or more of the roles listed below.
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to customer service. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting children safely and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for all riders. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle various driving scenarios. You would be driving a 15 passenger van to transport elementary-aged kids from school to our community center. The time frame is 2pm-4pm Monday to Friday. Background check required and must be 25 or older.
Additionally we are seeking both instructors and coordinators for after school programming. Instructors are responsible for leading a co-ed group of students and teaching beginner level skills and development. The classes include piano, vocal performance, guitar, visual arts (upper elementary/middle school age), dance blast (intro to different styles of dance jazz, hip hop, ballet, etc...), podcasting (teaching kids camera presence, Interview skills, film and audio editing), etc. Coordinators will be designated as assistants to instructors and facilitators of snack time, game time and homework help, may fill in as the leader of a specialty class in the event of instructor absence.
Part time childcare roles at Barefoot Republic Community Center outside of after school hours are also available. This role would involve childcare on site at the community center for children of varying ages (12 and younger).
